McHale's future with T-Wolves uncertain

The Timberwolves introduced David Kahn as their new president of basketball operations Friday. Whether they will be looking for a new coach won't be known until at least next week. Kahn, the former Indiana Pacers general manager, said he hopes to sit down with coach Kevin McHale then and attempt to come to a mutual decision. With Kahn heading to Chicago for the NBA draft combine Wednesday through Friday, that meeting likely will have to take place early in the week or next weekend. As of Friday afternoon, Kahn had no firm date or any apparent sense of urgency for resolving the coaching situation quickly.

forget management.....
McHale needs to take a break from the NBA for a while-
he's been there for YEARS already and unfortunatley for him
his reign there can only be described as a FAILURE

He's got $$, he's not thought of poorly-
go do some TV for a while- relax & in a year or 2-
if you want to get back in- he'd find a job

Certainly there's a job for McHale in Boston. Danny Ainge owes him bigtime.

Future uncertain?!? Yeah right! Not saying I know all of the results, but it seems that the Wolves and McHale have reached the end of their road.

Holds up the Dave Chappelle "Wrap It Up" lighted sign. This is the year the T-Wolves make a huge turnaround (barring Al Jeff's inability to rehab)

They are going to do it with or without you this year, and if they do do it this year. I am NOT going to give you ANY credit.

Hey JGB, Hollywood have you checked to see how many draft picks the Wolves have this year? I have them at 6, 18, 28, 45 & 47. Is it possible that that is a bad thing, or can you never have too many picks in the draft? They have never been a good judge of talent.

We'll see. 5 picks won't do much good if there isn't any thing to choose from. Apparently nothing has changed. While still needing a center they are expected to go after another guard. It is also unrealistic to think that they will get 5 guys that will contribute. The picks need to be used wisely--that means the Wolves will probably make the wrong choice.

It would be a mistake to assume Kevin McHale the GM is the same as Kevin McHale the coach.

Re-think that!!! McHale would do awesome with a real team...look at the picks he has!

He's one of the best GM's ever...he built a championship squad in one year...just for the wrong team.

It's actually a good picture of him; hides the bolts in his neck very nicely...
