Heat eyeing Tinsley

The Heat -- which has auditioned several potential second-round point guards (France's Rodrique Beaubois , Arkansas/Ukraine's Patrick Beverley , BC's Tyrese Rice, Gonzaga's Jeremy Pargo) --- will watch for Jamaal Tinsley's July 27 grievance hearing. He could be set free in late summer if an arbitrator forces the Pacers to play him (which they won't) or buy him out.

They can have him. While Riles is at it, may I also suggest Jay Williams, Shaun Livingston, Brevin Knight. I'm SHOCKED that Wade still wants to do business with this PoS GM.

Why would the Heat want to risk their team on a fat malcontent who will only get into even more trouble if he's on South Beach regularly?

If Riley signs on this deal is is a mere jackass straight up.
Luther Head should be resigned and continue to be the backup to Chalmers not Tinsley!
Quinn is the spare tire in case of an injury etc.
Aryson said he will do what it takes and money is no option then stop talking and do!
Talking cost us to many times in the past.
Talking about Mo Williams being signed and the Bucks matched it and we didnt raise the stakes to get him.
Talking about getting Bibby and the hawks stole him from under the radar.
Stop the **** chatter and make smart moves for Wade County to rise again idiots!

That POS GM swung a deal to get Shaquille ONeal paired with Wade and they netted a title in 2006.

That same POS GM is headed to the Hall of fame.

You, my little internet friend will continue to be nothing more than a hater who doesn't know crap.

Ok Shaun Livingston was a bad pickup the kid has no jumper.
Brevin Knight is a scrub.
But you cant put J Will in the same sentence as those guys.
He is a bit older now but he was key to our championship in 06.

No, Jay Williams, as in the one who can't ride a motorcycle properly.

May 24, 2009  03:25 PM ET

If this happens, I will be SO mad. You got a gem in Chalmers, let him develop, instead of giving him a bad influence, lazy-@$s point guard to play behind!

i didnt say he was leaving.I said he should.Time to trade those exping contracts, cook and rounders for kaman ,amare, bosh or gerald wallace as soon as possible and stop waiting for 2010.When bosh sign with lebron in 2010 and amare get traded to chicago this season, riley will have to resign walker as the heat 2nd option

Do we really want Chalmers to emulate Tinsley? Start hanging out with him and start getting in trouble again? I think Miami should really look at Marbury to split equal time with Chalmers...or just let Chalmers learn from dWade on how to finish at the basket...Otherwise pg is ok...Luther head is an ok backup...I think our biggest acquisition should be a PF, mainly trying to get Toronto to Take Oneal's expiring contract for Bosh, who is leaving rather than end up with nothing...

May 24, 2009  06:08 PM ET

I dont think the heat needs another PG. They need someone in the 3,4 or 5 who'll give them 15-20 pts and 6 or so boards a night consistently or a workhorse off the boards who's willing to do the little things like deflect a pass, alter a shot or tip a rebound to a team mate and can move without the ball.

oopss by the way, I was agreeing ahung...

May 24, 2009  07:22 PM ET

What is all this talk about Chalmers being our future at the point. Don't get it twisted, we need a PG and it is time to be looking at some of these upcoming pgs like jordan farmar or maybe getting jamal crawford and work on his defense, we also should make a push for ben gordon. Somebody who can be a threat from the outside or even jarret jack.

did you just said jamal crawford?.thanx but no thanx. We dont need no more 42 fg% shooters
