Sleeper in the Wild's hunt for a coach remains Todd Richards, the former Gopher who is a fast-rising assistant for the San Jose Sharks. Popular former North Star Craig Hartsburg also would seem a viable candidate.

Sleeper? He is the top guy on many lists, he was interviewed in Edmonton and is a top canadite for many jobs.

At least they're considering someone new and young instead of the same old names all the time.

Hartsburg deserves another chance. Would you take a doctor's license to practice away for not saving the life of a patient with terminal cancer? Nothing against this guy, but Hartsburg is one heck of a good hockey coach who should get another kick at the can in the league before he is tossed to the scrap heap.

i think he was high on the penguins list at one time.please correct me if i"m wrong.

Well, Quinn's out. He's in Edmonton. Should do good things there.

I gotta say bgm, that it is nice to see you still living up to your bets. There was a time this humble poster had to change HIS avatar over a bet and it pained me to do it, so I understand where you are coming from, sir

Mike Keenan is now available. Hahaha. I'm sure the retread carousel will continue to spin for some of these guys. But good that an assistant might be given a shot to be the head coach and infuse some new blood in the head coaching ranks.

A sleeper because nobody is talking about him yet as far as the team is coming from.
