Kentucky basketball recruit John Wall has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor and entered a program for first offenders that could lead to having his record cleared. Wall, 18, pleaded guilty Wednesday to breaking and entering. Wake County Assistant District Attorney Phillip Cowan said that under the terms of the plea, Wall must complete 75 hours of community service, pay court costs and program fees and stay out of trouble for the next six months. The 6-foot-4 point guard at Word of God in Raleigh signed a national letter of intent to play at Kentucky last week. He was charged after police found him walking out of a vacant house in Raleigh. Wall and two other teenagers were cited.

Wow. So Memphis gets hit with NCAA violations and then the new UK recruit gets hit with a misdemeanor. What's the common thread here.

Not really. If you can't make six months the coach will forgive you.

Let us not forget that your Flordia Gators were right there recruiting him also. So was Coach K. Roy Williams made a call...

Do you see a trend there? Classy players don't matter as long as they are good. You act like it was only Kentucky going after the kid.

If the worst thing he has ever done is break into a vacant house with 2 friends that isn't all that bad.
