LeBron: I'm not leaving Cavs yet
LeBron James finally talked about not making the NBA Finals, and insists Cleveland's loss to Orlando will not impact his future with the Cavaliers. James stormed out of Amway Arena without speaking to the media Saturday night after the host Magic eliminated the Cavaliers, 103-90, in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals. The league MVP, who also did not shake hands with Olympic teammate Dwight Howard or congratulate any Orlando players as he left the floor, said yesterday that he's happy in Cleveland and feels the Cavaliers made major progress this season. "I'm great. I feel great about this situation that's going on," James said at Cleveland's training facility in Independence, Ohio, where the team gathered one last time before parting ways for the summer. "You want to continue to get better, that's all you can ask. We got better and I feel this team will be better next season. You don't want to take a step backward."

Lebron these Play-offs equals highest efficieny ranking.....the second highest Cavs player ranked at number 40 something!!! that player wasn't even Their top 5 most paid player, it was Delonte West!!!......Many teams had multiple players in the top 40 of Efficiency......The celtics had 5........
Cavs need someone to take the load off Lebron that doesn't mind contact and shows up. (i doubt Mo -WILL will make another all star game)...despite getting the best record, most of the cavs success was over hyped much do to the phenomenon of Lebron.

I had so much respect for Lebron but after the way he stormed out and not talk to the media after the loss, my respect has gone south on this guy. After one day and he got a chance to talk to the media, he still believes that he should not be shaking hands w/ anybody. What a sore loser. I thought he was good but now you know how fake he is. I thought he was better then Kobe but my feelings has change. At least Kobe will stick around after a loss even though it hurts so much. Lebron maybe is great but his lack of sportsmanship will bring him down. Now, I hope that he will never win a championship because of his ego.

What frustrates me the most is his sound bites...ie "i don't give up on a play" (even if it appears to be a foul) sure that means he gives ultimate effort but the Media just eats this stuff up...also the quote where he says " i never feel pressure"........yeah right.......
Not talking after being on the big stage like that is kind of disrespecful to the Magic, the Fans, the Media, The NBA...sure it's tough to stomach getting suposingly "upset"...it takes class and some professionalism to be able to reflect and give Magic their due in the proper forum, ie not storming off and actually alking to the media.

You don't build a team to match up well with another team... there's 29 other teams that can show up any season. The good thing the Cavs have going is that they can let most of the old players go and replace them with some real talent. However the type of players worth spending that kinda money on won't be available this summer unless you consider Artest, Odom, Gooden and Boozer difference makers.
Plus Chicago and Boston won't bow out easily next season either and Joe Dumars can refortify Detroit if he decides not to tank next season.
Truth is to keep the competitor in Lebron happy you have to give him the best weapons in the game. In other words you have to overspend to accumulate talent... but I doubt the profit-minded greedy owners will do that. Before Lebron you couldn't even bribe anyone to go watch Cleveland but now that he's made the franchise worthy they're selling part of it to China.... it's only fair they spend the money to show appreciation for what Lebron has done but I doubt they will... which will compel him to bolt... if that happens don't blame him. Long story short...
IF FERRY DOES NOT ASSEMBLE THE BEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE NEXT SEASON LEBRON WILL BE JUSTIFIED TO LEAVE.

This is what separates DWade, Kobe, Duncan, Shaq, and even Carmelo from Lebron. Lebron has just become a classless and egothestic spoiled athlete. I loved the way he became a triple double threat and an all around player and teammate but he just throw it all away w/ his attitude. He now thinks he is above everybody else and we should bow to him.

Wow Guam Baller I think you are being a little sensitive on the way he left the court. This isn't 8-9 year olds where you line up and all shake hands at the end of the game. I agree he could have handled the situation better but for a guy who clearly gave his all and came up short I will chalk this up to the heat of the moment. I am not a Cavs fan and I was actually rooting for the Magic to win but it was clear that LBJ was frustrated after having one of the greatest years of his young career. I would feel worse about the situation if he had laid the blame on coaching or his teammates.

Maybe the Cavs should have been more serious instead of angering the basketball gods with their clown antics. I'll bet we won't see them dancing, taking pictures, or generally acting like an elementary school team on a cheese bus next year. Lebron, their fearless leader, can do all that but then leaves Mo Williams to face the media by himself.

Lebron displayed a poor sportman's attitude. I watched the Lakers/Denver elimination game on Friday and saw both teams hugged and shake hands after the game, I was expecting to see the same with Orlando/Cleveland game, what I saw after the Orlando/Cleveland game was the camera showing Lebron leaving the court area and I thought to myself (he's not shaking hands), immediately, my mind focused on the Chicago/Detroit series when Jordan and the Bad Boys played. Lebron leaving the court area the way he did looked bad because he's the face that the NBA are trying to market the league and this image did not look good.
Everyone is a sore loser, but for about five minutes, you have to show sportsmanship and then afterwards go back to being a sore loser. All kind of doors and windows opened when he did what he did. He have his excuse as to why but this stage he's on is very large and there's not place for dealing with this type of childish attitude.
Lebron, you can't win all the time, get use to losing some games you're expect to win. The MVP walked off the court without acknowledging the team that eliminated him and the Cavs! Says a lot about his character.

Pretty much everyone on that team gave their all.....i know they didn't produce like the first two rounds but it's clear the Cavs need to make changes...All their core players have pretty much shown what your gonna get from them, of course Lebron will keep making strides, but as i said their second most efficient played ranked like 40 something.........

Kobe was frustrated after losing to Boston last season; he shook the Boston players hand and gave interviews. Kareem, Magic, Bird, Parrish, Malone, Dr. J, Artest Gilmore, and a host of other players have lost games they felt they should have won and accepted losing more gracefully than what Lebron displayed. What he did was very childish and unexcusable, especially, if your the face that the NBA are trying to market the league. What he did was open a lot of windows and doors about his character. He's in that same class as Mark Cuban and the Bad Boys of Detroit (selfish, arrogant, sore loser, coward).
