The NHL has interviewed Washington Capitals front-office employees as well as members of the team's medical and training staffs in recent days as it investigates allegations made by a Florida man arrested last week on steroid charges.

Well maybe he is the only one they could find in the NHL that is actully on some kind of drugs...Wouldn't be hard to convince me he is on 'something' that destroys brain cells.

This guy in florida is an interesting charactor. The case is also interesting. To be honest. I wouldnt be surprised if this all turns out to be bogus.

This better not start up a baseball-like witch hunt. Campbell needs to be punitive, harsh and on point so that the media doesn't replicate the baseball saga in hockey. Keep that mess in baseball and away from hockey, please.

ha ha if any guy was using it was prob Jose Theodore or Donald Brashear

nobody with half a brain could ever think that MLB, the NFL, the Olympics, Cycling, Wrestling and every other damn sport on earth do steroids and the players in the NHL don't. i can just about guarantee that HGH and performance enhancing drugs are in hockey

The testing is a joke because it doesn't test for HGH which is what a lot of baseball players used.

Tony Twist was a juicer. Probert was too. Guarantee there are others. Many others. Alex Rodriguez has laid to rest that steroid users are bulky, hulking, behemoths like Bonds and McGwire. Certain PED's can give you increased strength, and the ability to recover without making you a gargantuan statue.

If any sport would get added benefit from steroids and HGH, it is the NHL, the most punishing sport of all, where recovery from day to day is most important.

I always cringe when people make statements of fact like that...tempting karma. So, I'm hoping you're someone on the team who knows each player so intimately that you can make such an aggressive statement. As a Caps fan, I hope it isn't true, since our team doesn't need any more egg on its face (especially after that abyssmal showing in Game 7 against the Pens)...but as a lifelong athlete and sports lover, I'd say that the odds are excellent that juicers abound in the NHL, just like everywhere else...
