Why name the team before you get it? I agree with comment #1.

When they say "wannabe hockey league team" are they refering to the Coyotes or Balsillie?

by the way, I'm partial to naming the team the Hamilton Silly Balls!

Bring back the Hamilton Tigers!

It makes sense to have a team in Hamilton play in the Western Conference. If they do get the team, how long before the fans and owner complain about that situation - I give it 1 year.

Let them play in the West, it's easier for the Wings to travel to Hamilton then Phoenix, they just have to go ice fishing on their day off instead of golfing.

If any of this business help discredit Bettman then please relocate that team. The quicker the better.

I think the other teams in the northwest division would have a pretty big beef about the situation too, seeing as there would be five teams spread across three time zones.

Hamilton Hammers seems like a rather logical thing as they're in the big industrial area. I'm not quite sure how they'd display it on a jersey and not resemble the USSR flag.

How about the Hamilton traffic jam...just try getting to a game there during rush hour on the QEW...
