Defensive back DeMarcus Milliner, a five-star prospect from Millbrook, said at a news conference that he's committed to the Crimson Tide. Milliner becomes the 13th commitment for Alabama coach Nick Saban for 2010, the fifth from this state. A 6-foot-1, 180-pounder, he picked UA over offers from Auburn, LSU, Tennessee, Oklahoma and others. He is considered the nation's No. 1 cornerback by Scout.com and Rivals.com.

How could he possibly turn his back on pimped out limos and the opportunity to sit in a room with other young men and rip his shirt off in front of aging coaches? It's not like Saban knows anything about coaching secondaries.

5-star talent, 1-star brain

I'm gonna have to vote this one as Truth, not Rumor. However, this applies to pretty much all of the 5-stars, right?

What a shocker.. A 5* from Bama wanting to play for Saban instead of Auburn and Chizzle... Millner was quoted " There was no bioootchhz_in the damn limo..Wassup with that?"

Well at least he is not the only Bama booster.. They can rotate on who's paying next.. Makes me feel bad for T Bone.. He is the only booster who funds Okie St

Milliner supposedly has been an Alabama fan all his life. His dad did say the Tiger Prowl turned him off, but that could just be talk.

So, it isn't a surprise and I don't think we're losing him either.

T Bone can handle it most years. Lately, though, he might be looking for some backup.

Until you can play with the SEC, stay off the SEC threads.
