09:10 AM ET 06.07 | A report late in the week out of Pittsburgh had the Bruins shopping veteran winger Marco Sturm, who would have to waive his no-trade clause. Label this one "possible." Provided the acquiring club didn't want to ship money Boston's way, the move would trim $3.5 million off Boston's cap each of the next two seasons.

geez, BGM, I guess if you ask enough it actually becomes a reality!

The only way they move him is if they trade him to a team with lots of cap space like the leafs, and they add a draft pick or prospect.

BGM already traded him 3-4 times through the season I thought.

Gotta disagree with you on this one Gilligan. Sturm is a pesky little sumbitch and he can put the biscuit in the basket. I think the B's would have loved to have him back in the playoffs this year.

For what a bag of pucks?

I've got 4 bald tires I'm trying to dump? On the right rims they might look good?

That's how I feel about Sturm. Put him with the right centre he'd be fine. But don't expect him to lead you to the promised land.

I think Sturm is a very servicable player. However, he is $3.5 million worth of cap space. I keep hearing rumors of Bergeron or Ryder being traded. My response: "The crack is good in Boston." Bergeron is 23. Ryder puts the puck in the net. His line was one of the biggest factors in the post season. In the Carolina series, Bergeron's line was the best. If they can trade Sturm and a pick for cap space, I say go for it. Even though Sturm is a lot younger, I would bring back Recchi because I think he would help Bergeron's development.

Well if they trade Marco, then they keep Kessel because those are their to speed guys up front, they probably can't keep both, as for Marco's cap hit to another team I wouldn't thing thats a big hit he is proven scorer. he should be easy to move.

You really have to know the game to really understand how freakin good Bergeron is.
