why?

- I mean the chances of Minny making the playoffs are
slim & none....so you go to minny, LOSE, then NEVER get another
NBA job- it's simply bad buisness for any 1st time NBA coach

He deserves a shot in the league. I'm surprised Dumars went with Curry over Laimbeer. Laimbeer played for Detroit for 12 seaons, with 2 championships, and 4 all-star appearances. And he has 3 championships as the Shock coach. Curry's resume is weak in comparison.

Anything is better than what we've had in recent years. He would hopefully give the team the mental toughness they've lacked in recent years.

How fitting .... and ex- Sleestak actor ..... coaching a paif of slow moving low post players....

Exactly!! Any 1st time coach that takes on the Timberwolves had better negotiate for enough money to live on for the rest of his life, because his coaching career is over.

Sota isn't going anywhere so why not give Bill Laimbeer a shot? A hardnosed coach like him will be beneficial to a young team like the Wolves.
