Go pickup LSU but he probably won't even hit campus. He's going to get drafted real high by MLB next year and as good a QB as he is (very) he's a better baseball player. I'd be surprised if he doesn't take the money and go where his long term future lies.

Yeah he is a strong commit... But like FJJ said.. He could ended up getting drafted in Baseball... I hope he comes to LSU and plays both.. Bring home a title in both :) ...

I must profess that SI.com's (non)coverage of CWS is very disappointing. I know that a SoMiss reliever walked in the Loghorn's winning run.

Yeah SI is **** the CWS... I think UT scored their last 3 runs by walks if I am not mistaken

Southern Miss ran out of guys who could throw strikes. Three walks by two different pitcers in the 9th. Ugly way to win, but a win is a win. How ugly? Last batter, there were two outs with a tie score and the bases loaded (thanks to two walks) in the bottom of the ninth, and the Southern Miss kid throws four straight balls.

With your old track coach at eATMe they could become a dominant track power. Parent is a very very good track coach.

Now if only old Bubba Thornton and Bev Kearney could do something like that the UT might be able to compete.

No shocker there. I think most college sports lose money in general. Too many costs and keeping up with the jones to recruit, too few attendees to games, reasonable costs for most sports. Tough racket.
