The bad thing is that Dirk is a good hearted guy who is low key and doesn't cause trouble. No offense but this is something I would rather see happen to Michael Vick or Shockey.

OK this is really on Dirk not the woman regardless of her past. Dirk should not be allowed full custody because he is rich or she is a perceived gold digger she has to be proven to be an unfit mother. letting someone else raise her previous children does not make her an unfit mother.It seems to me they both had strong feelings for each other and I will have to admitt it seems like he's more concerned with what people will say about any association with her. But if he doesn't care about his Soft label as an NBA player he shouldn't be concerned with his soft label regarding women. Dirk is clearly not a player and I'm not talking about B-Ball

In SI this week Cuban tries to say that the K-Mart playoff fiasco was actually a smokescreen for this mess with Dirk. No doubt about it that this girl was a conman.

I would say it is dirk's fault b/c when you are rich you need to background check every female that you have a serious relationship with. You dont reasonably have to hire somebody but you need o meet some family and see if she have any goals in life before discussin marraige and kids. Also, this chick was ugly. If you are going to screw up, make sure the chick in actually cute and have a brain. He is a millionaire. But I guess that is german Engineering... Room Room

Dirk has been with this chick 7 years. He's probably heard it all before. Smart money says he's saying what he thinks others want to hear. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if 9 months after she's released from prison, they have baby #2.
