Like many NFL fans and observers, former Chargers and Patriots safety Rodney Harrison is getting sick of Brett Favre. And Harrison made his position known during a Wednesday appearance on The Dan Patrick Show. "From the player's I've talked to, a lot of them seem to think Brett Favre is pretty selfish," Harrison said. "Each and every offseason bringing so much attention to himself. It's just really a disappointment to hear that time and time again."

I agree, Favre is a doussbag

June 25, 2009  05:18 AM ET

Is this a newsflash.....?

June 25, 2009  05:18 AM ET

Gee, another Favre thread......

June 25, 2009  05:48 AM ET

The boy is just jealous. Calling out the QB and what about the other freaks like OchoCinko or TO and the list goes on.....inherent. Fabre would not get the attention if it was not for the press who use everyone and everything to get their print. It is all about filling space on a page whether on paper or on screen. The Patriots got alot a print...for cheating....and yes FOR CHOKING...in the biggest football game ever. So....Get Over It.

Selfish or extremely indecisive? The media reports this stuff, not Brett. Im no Favre fan, but I do want to see him play another year. Its just another story to add some level of intrigue to the season. How he performs, that is. And if youre tired of him, dont read the Favre posts. That said, I do wish he would end the speculation and sign already...

Sorry Dragon, you miss the point. Favre sucks all the air out of the NFL pre-season and it looks like fans and players alike have had enough. I have a feeling that when OchoCinco and TO retire, they'll make a lot of noise and cry at their press conference and all that. I doubt they'll put us through the same type of charade Favre has now imposed on us twice.

June 25, 2009  06:06 AM ET

How can he be considered selfish? Didn't he an MVP award with Barry Sanders one year?

I'm sure your comments will keep him up at night. Oh, and those 2 rings, they didn't happen for him either.

I can tell your a newbie... Favre threads are impossible to elude on fannation... The people that post these threads have a sicker obsession with Favre than Madden does...

June 25, 2009  06:34 AM ET

An NFL player an Legend like Brett Favre has the right to come back an play if he wants to but wth Favre its much more its because he can still play btr than almost 75% of the QB's, i'd rather have him than Warner in Arizona if he knew the Offence like he does the Vikings.Montana,Elway,Aikman, & Steve Young were done but they dont move or throw the ball as Hard As Favre an Screw Green Bay for letting him go after that amazing season, he would hve led the to a Title or close to it last year.

He didnt knw the Jets Offence as well an now he has a Top-3 O-Line, the Best RB in Football, Berrian is his perfect deep threat, Harvin will develop faster an they will own that Division. An a amazing run D to boot, I cant wait for the Packer Games.

And yet you are here....

Brett Favre isnt Marino,Elway,Aikman,Steve Young, because of that streak at QB his body still moves an he has a btr arm than all of them except maybe Marino but Favre's throw lasts an if a Legend like that can still play an wants an can then why shouldn't he cause the Packers were idiots trying to make him retire after his best season in 3 years. They would have Won or gotten close to a SuperBowl last season.
He didnt know the Jets Offence but he knows the Vikings an with the Best RB in Peterson a TOP 3-O-Line, Top 3 D up front, an Berrian running deep an Harvin making a few plays he'll lead them to the NFC North Crown an beat GB both times.

June 25, 2009  06:35 AM ET

Look, stop your bellyachin' about Favre. The more persons that post about how sick and tired they are about Favre threads are defeating their own purpose. Fannation does NOT read your comments...unless someone reports them as offensive. All they care about are numbers. If a Favre thread regularly achieves more than 2000 posts, then they are going to assume that people want MORE Farve threads. So, if you see a Favre thread and you want them to stop, DON'T post about how much you hate them!!
