I wouldn't trade T-Mac for a Big Mac.

The guy needs to get healthy and win some playoffs before he has any real trade value.

agreed. the talent levels are fairly equal, although they obviously have different roles, but TMac rarely plays. the guy is constantly hurt.

Yupp...I've been saying this all along Kerr damaged the Suns so bad the only logical option is to start from scratch. You know y're in real bad shape when you have to give up a potential franchise player in Amare and speed monster Barbosa for T-Mac just because of his big salary... this is sad... real sad.... like Michael Jackson.

Suns may have a very bad season by the looks of things.

Wow... I didn't even look at their salary situation... if this trade goes down they'll be players in the 2010 sweepstakes as the only salary they'll have is J-Rich's 14mil and the little scraps they'll get from Houston. Grant Hill's contract has expired so they don't have to deal with him.

With Shaq and Amare gone, they will be at least 35mil under the cap in 2010. Add a high draft pick next season as they will suck so bad and they are in prime shape to be competitors again. i bet once Kerr is canned the Knicks hire him as a player personnel consultant. they deserve each other.

lostwill i think you meant Jefferson instead of Richardson, but I hear ya. the west is gonna be crazy good. I think my spurs have a good shot at another title run though with RJ now in the mix. Provided Manu is healthy, that is.

This is a lesson in how to completely blow up a team. It'll be really interesting to see the fallout of this as well as how long it takes to rebuild.

What? I would be surprised if this happens. The Suns just got rid of Shaq and now they want to trade for T-Mac? Are the Suns just trying to give up on 2009-2010 now?

No way this trade happens. Doesnt make much sense to the Suns-they've already given Shaq away for nothing. They'll find a way to keep Amare-who needs an injury proned max player who hasnt gotten past the second round of the playoffs???

Yao, and Amare in the front court, with RonRon, and Brooks....That is a nasty squad.

The only thing that would make that trade good for Phx is that fact that they would get a good future pg in Brooks and Landry is a hustler...Tmac cant make it through a season and some how between little league and now he has put some bad ass karma on hisself because he personally cant get to the second round..lol

The Suns are just saying f-it man...a few 50 win seasons...get rid of that coach, hire one that is no replacement, throw an interim guy in there who underperforms as well, miss the playoffs by a game or two, trade Shaq after fumbling 4 months prior to, and now trade away your best player for a hope. IDK...T-Mac can be great if he's healthy...but that if he's healthy statement has been said for about four years now. The West is making moves...I need my Eastern Conference to make noise tonight!!!!

I wouldnt worry to much about the East...The conference a move like this one would put you at the top....The West you have to come up with something MAJOR
