Sabathia's session goes well
CC Sabathia's stomach wasn't bubbling over how his left arm would come through yesterday's bullpen session. However, he understood others in the Yankees' universe were stressing. "Everybody else made it news," Sabathia said of the 27-pitch workout. "It feels good to put those guys to rest." After the session, Sabathia said to look for him tomorrow night at Citi Field against the Mets to open the Subway Series. "I threw all my pitches and I am looking forward to pitching Friday," said Sabathia, who was yanked from Sunday's start in Miami in the second inning due to tightness in the biceps that was diagnosed as tendinitis. "I feel like I am fine." If for some reason Sabathia can't go, Phil Hughes will get the call.

actually, I was thinking Karen Carpenter.
at least he's only 28 and the yankee deal will end with him at 35. hopefully he can make it through the entire deal. the yanks typically give big money to guys over 35...a la clemens, randy johhson and kevin brown.

Did the Yankees do a fitness assessment on CC? Really, give this guy almost 200 million for the next half a decade while he weights in at a not trim 300+lbs. Good business stategy. What happens when body starts fail him with add weight and years on the knees. See you on the DL!
