Wild pending free agent Marian Gaborik, who, as the Pioneer Press reported last winter confided to people in Vancouver that he wanted to play there, has purchased a house in West Vancouver, according to JACK-FM radio in Vancouver.

Gaborik in a pile of ****, would advise him to not play on a team that plays the Wild regularily.

Can the tampering start moving out of the western Canada. First Calgary, now Vancouver. C'mon Edmonton you are up next.

Does he know hes going to be playing alone? No way the sisters get the package they want and Luongo has his bags sitting at the door ready to bolt after this year.

I don't see how anyone can sign this guy to a long term contract. If I were a gm out there, the best offer I'd throw at this guy is 1 yr, incentive laden contract, with a team option for another year. No way would I ever let Gaborik right his own ticket - he'd come out of summer 50 pounds overweight!

I just don't understand why Vancouver would want him unless he comes at a significant discount. Always hurt, rarely in shape, disappears in games that matter most. Hmm, not the trifecta I'd be looking for in a big-time free agent signing

And sorry but i have to rant here....the Sundin sisters..look the same...sit beside each other....sleep together...holy **** batman. I hope nobody gives them the contract they want...make em sit and stew for a summer. ..their not that good.

Secretly, Gaborik is a huge fan of Hank Kingsley and wanted to be near him!

Nice, a Seinfeld reference.

I like it.

when you lose the sedins you have to replace them with something, i suppose in this case you overpay a broken down Lada...
Gaborik has world class talent, but he`s a sissy. Not worth anything close to what he will make.

June 25, 2009  10:47 AM ET

I don`t see any articles here about how Lawton stuck it to the leafs yesterday.

June 25, 2009  10:47 AM ET

Ever since they got his buddy Demitra last year, everyone knew Gaborik was going to Vancouver.

He should be!

But what I posted yesterday appears to be true.

I'm not just another pretty face.

Nobody should ever be offered differently.

But I'd take Gaborik.

Not sure the CBA allows incentive laden contracts Hank.

Then scrap the CBA..... Nobody should get long term fat contracts.

It's just another thing wrong with Pro leagues.

Sedins will resign
Nucks will sign Gaborik
AS for Luongo Gillis rolls the dice with him and trys to get him to resign. If not they have Schnider has a back up plan
