A roster player? Nice and vague, Boston Globe.

There should be about 25 teams out there looking to pick up this guy with the contract he is working under. Naming Boston as one of them is not news, in my opinion.

Who could it be? Sturm? Kessel seems a might bit too valuable, but I would make that trade as well, if it were up to me. Bergeron? I'd have to let that one marinade for a bit before making that decision...

The Leafs have the cap room to easily sign him, though I doubt Burke will do anything until he sees if Snow takes Tavares. If Snow does the trade might go through, if he doesn't Burke isn't going to waste his shot at trying to move up by giving up his best assets to get there.

Kessel is a very good player but that would not be a good move...the Leafs won't save any salary and would be giving up their top Defenceman and their first round pick...this team needs to acquire young talent, not give up draft picks!

I agree. It would be like Burke saying OK, if I can't get Tavares in the draft, I'm taking my ball and going home. That's not like Burke. It sounds like a move Cliff ("drat shmaft") would do, but if you are rebuilding, giving up a first round pick sounds like a stupid idea, and Brian Burke is not stupid.

Burke is blowing smoke right now, he wants Hedman. Burke went as far to say that the Isles will take Duchene. No way, it will be Tavarse.

Kaberle will end up with the Lightning, although it would be great to get Kessel just to rub it into BGM a little.

Burkie might wanna shut his piehole or he wont be fooling anyone in the draft. With a lack of parts to offer he needs to sneak one by somebody.

This is what Burke does and everyone knows it. It has worked for him over the years and his track record speaks for itself. In other words, "in Burke we trust."

Schenn will not be there at 7. I am still saying Leafs move to #2 and get the their if it is Hedman, if not I do not think they want JT as bad as they say they do.

TB has told Burke they will not do a trade that doesn't involve Luke Schenn.

The Leafs should move up to 5 and get Schenn or Kane, what ever one Atl doesn't take.
