The Cubs suck... Just bench everyone but hoffpauer or whatever...

If they weren't paying him 10 mil a season, Hoffpuir WOULD be playing ... I dunno who thought signing Milton Bradley (and his baggage) to a three year deal was a good idea ... but he should be fired ... Look - Bradley is a talented player ... Million dollar talent, 10 cent head(case) ... a shame ..

When will the Cubs organization and Cubs fans realize the Bradley signing was a waste of $30 million?

Ha! Face the facts, the Tigers are a very good team. Just look at the 1-3 starters, Verlander, Jackson and Porcello ALL with sub 4 ERA's and Verlander is the most dominant pitcher in the AL over the last month or two. Add to that they play great defense. That is why they have the 3rd best record in the majors.

All this talk about Aramis. What is he Babe Ruth? Soriano and Bradley and stinking up the place and the Cubs defense is dreadful. On top of that they don't play smart or focused, did you Soriano jog back to first base and get doubled off on Lee's fly out to LF, a joke.

Verlander 3.31
Porcello 3.55

Only Seattle's 1-3 have a lower ERA in the AL

Have to chuckle at Cubs fans, tooo many don't know ANYTHING about the teams they're playing against

Are you kidding? We hated the trade, and the signing when they happened.

Milton Bradley was the first Cub to pose for his statue at the beginning of his Cub career. Unfortunately. right after he posed, he threw a live ball into the bleachers. Bradley is probably the worst Chicago free agent signing since the White Sox resigned Julio Cruz.

I think the Cubs should also bench Soriano. He has been stinking just as bad as Bradley. Really nice base running gaffe Spriano made too.

you guys can't blame the Cubs for signing Bradley...they just did what they always do...Cubs being Cubs.

I look at our left fielder AS in much more bad light. I am so sick of his lack of hustle. Yesterday he killed us as we were leading 3-0 looking to add on when D-Lee hit a long ball to left field & AS loffed getting back & got double up. That change the game completely. The Tigers scored the next inning & that was it.

At least MB does hustle. He runs everything out & dives for balls. I have seen more than a few balls get by AS this year but more than anything he does not know the word hustle. I look at Jake Fox who is hustling all the time & is producing & the knock on him is his defense. But if you are comparing Jake Fox to AS on defense alone I would take Fox.

I still think we will be ok but we need some major changes & we should go after DeRosa before the tradeline. BTW why did we sign Aaron Miles to a two year contract?
