The word is former player and current broadcaster Mark Jackson is at the top of the Wolves' list of coaching candidates. Del Harris wants back into the league, but this time he wants to be back in the big chair. No more guidance counselor jobs for Harris, he wants to lead his own team once again. A source close to Harris told HOOPSWORLD that he would like nothing better than to take on the challenge of an exciting young team like the Timberwolves, and the Timberwolves would do well to hear what Harris has to say before they commit their foreseeable future to an inexperienced coach.

Wasn't it reported a few weeks ago that he had officially retired? Who does he think he is!?! Brett Favre?

Lets not go crazy with the word 'exciting'
according to my sources- they won TWENTY FOUR games last year they AIN'T the Blazers......
Plus- lets see if Big Al comes back- cause if not they're winning LESS games

So did Cotton Fitzsimmons...

Del Harris has a very good NBA head coaching record with the Lakers, Bucks, and Rockets. Was named Coach of the Year 1995 while with the Lakers.

Delmer is a moron. Minny should absolutely hire him...if they want disgruntled players and a .350 winning percentage.

yawn.....wait this guy is still alive???

"Dull" Harris?" Who's next - Bill Fitch, Bill Sharman Bernie Bickerstaff, P.J. Carlesimo, Butch Van Breda Kolff, Dwane Casey, Edward Gottlieb, Matt Guokas, Dick Motta? Are you telling me Gene Shue is not available?

Enough of these old has-beens. I am not saying that Mark Jackson or any young person is ideal for the job, but what are you telling the Minnesota fans by hiring a retread?

They already have disgruntled players, and they're gonna have a 350 percentage if Jesus coaches them!!!

AJ is waiting for Pop to retire in SA.

Del Harris was a jerk under A J and A J is a jerk. I don't want either one coaching my Spurs. AJ shouldn't have had his jersey retired either. Now the bar is lowered and Bowen better be raised to the rafters too as he was more instrumental than AJ in Spur's success. 3 Titles more!

Really. He's as old as most S.A. Spurs players!

I think the Wolves should get P.J. as coach and then resign Spree. lol
