Georgia lands No. 1 prospect
Newnan safety Alec Ogletree, who is ranked as the state's No. 1 prospect by Scout, hopes to play college football with his brother. However, that remains to be seen, as Alec made a surprising commitment to Georgia over more than 50 scholarship offers this weekend. His twin, Zander Ogletree, has an offer from Florida State and is under consideration from Georgia.

Better than 50%. Odd how one is 6'3" and the other is 5'10" given they're twins but it happens.
Package deals are stupid but if UGA wants to toss one schollie to keep a 5* kid that's there business. In the end chances are one of them won't be happy and leaves.

Georgia's recruiting is steaming quietly but steadily towards top of the tier. When all is done, Richt's crew may have topped Meyer's and Satan's for biggest fish and total weight per creel limit (metaphorically speaking).

Probably not. I'm guessing that wasn't about "homefield advantage"/wins/losses as much as it was about ATL businesses (hotels/restaurants/etc) squawking because they wanted to get a piece of the pie from the WLOCP.
