Wild letting Gaborik go?

Barring a drastic turn of events, Marian Gaborik's days with the Minnesota Wild appear done. Gaborik, 27, is set to become an unrestricted free agent Wednesday. Until then, only the Wild can negotiate with their franchise scoring leader -- though it appears general manager Chuck Fletcher has chosen not to. "He has contacted me on one occasion, and that was about 10 days ago," Gaborik's agent, Ron Salcer, said Monday evening. Asked if he would characterize the conversation as an offer, Salcer said, "No." Fletcher would not address the situation Monday, answering two questions about Gaborik by saying, "I have no comment."

Wild are getting smart this off-season. No more Lemaire now no more Gaborik. Heck, they might have a future yet...

Maybe the Wild should take a cance on Kessel

I will bet anything he goes to Vancouver.

Look for the wild to sign Havlat or Gionta

Good riddence, the Wild will make a bold move I think once the Gabby BS is over.

This post is a no-brainer. Gabby asks too much with too much of a liability and Sakku is coming to town to play with Mikko. Here is your new 1st liner.
The Wild will probably pitch at Madden (you don't turn from defensive-minded to offensive-minded overnight) and/or Gionta too to solidify the group. Hall and Scuderi should hear from them too...

The worst kept secret is that he has already bought a house there.
