TheWolverine.com reported that Miami Palmetto shooting guard Tim Hardaway Jr. has committed to Michigan for the 2010 class. He is the second commitment in the class, joining Reading, Mass., big man Evan Metrics. Hardaway, the son of longtime NBA guard Tim Hardaway, is ranked No. 93 in the 2010 class by SPUN.

A Beilein kind of guy through and though. This guy is a pure shooter!

Great get for Beilein and Michigan! Michigan's most important need is to find someone to fill Manny Harris shoes when he leaves.

Always tough being the son or daughter of a legend. I hope the kid has a nice career...

If he shoots half as well as his old man, this is a good pickup for the Wolverines.

Jr has had his eye on UM for a long time and worked hard for his scholarship. He had been recruited by other good teams and offered by, I believe, Minnesota. ESPN has him in the top 100 on their list if you are into rankings. He earned his offer this weekend because he shot the lights out at UM's camps. He thoroughly impressed the coaches and definitely a perfect fit for Beilein. Forget about him being the son of an NBA player. This kid got his offers because of his play, not of who his pa is. And do any of you think Beilein is a bad judge of talent?

Btw, TnR need to get their facts straight... the first commit is EVAN SMOTRYCZ, not METRIX. Where the eff did they get that from? And you heard it here first, Evan Smotrycz is the steal of the calls. How this kid was not noticed, except by Beilein, is amazing. Michigan landed a dandy.

Great info Warden. I love the progress Beilein has made so far. Last season they made great strides and got people excited about Michigan hoops again for the first time in a very long time.

Michigan Ball is back on the map!!

They return every player of note!! CJ Lee is really the only departure and he was more of a role player!!

With Manny Harris combined with Deshwan Sims as well as steadily improving shooters Zach Novak and Stu Dougless, i think this team can be a top 15 in the NCAA!!

er, i meant evan smotrycz is the steal of the 2010 class. Hopefully UM will also land Trey Zeigler.
