Webb's future in doubt?

As Brandon Webb continues his three-city tour of orthopedic surgeons, the details on the severity of his shoulder injury remain sketchy. But it appears Webb could be facing surgery to repair a torn labrum, a procedure with a reputation as daunting as any in baseball. Although it has long been considered an injury from which few pitchers recover, medical advancements have made torn labrums less of a career killer. But for every Curt Schilling and Chris Carpenter - pitchers who had the procedure and made it back to full strength - there are dozens of others whose careers were derailed. Guys like Mark Mulder, Pedro Martinez and Jason Schmidt.

If he mentioned the Dice-K posting fee one more time, I was going to go through the computer at him.

Thats what I gathered from some of the comments on here. Being fairly new around here, I am not familiar with all the players and the history that goes with them.

Um, hullo SKUNNY ... it is dead here ... looks like action on the NFL threads but I don't like hanging out there as a rule.

The attacks over there seem way too personal.

They're both still sleeping. It's only 5:45 in AZ.

Well, it took me all weekend and part of yesterday, but I finally managed to get some comments deleted over on the Nascar thread.
