Stephenson headed to Cincy?

Lance Stephenson, a four-time PSAL hoops champion at Lincoln who is involved in a sexual assault case, appears to be headed to Cincinnati after signing a financial aid agreement with the Big East school yesterday. Unlike a letter of intent, a financial aid agreement is non-binding, meaning Stephenson can change his mind and colleges can continue to recruit him. Back in March, the 6-foot-5 guard appeared on the verge of committing to Kansas, but those plans fell apart when the Jayhawks went with another player instead.

Maybe more kids will do this instead of signin the LOI... That way if they change their mind they can go somewhere else... He prob jus waiting to see if Xavier Henry going to leave KU

I'm just happy this kid at least picked a college, even if it seems that he may not apparently end up with Cincy. Considering he can still be recruited and he could be waiting for an opportunity to open up somewhere else.

Anyway, good for Lance.

Beat me to it, but hearing what is going on with Xavier Henry makes me think that's exactly what this move could be about.

Cincy isn't bad. They were 18-14 overall and 8-10 in the Big East. It kind of sucks that he couldn't stay local but for he just needed a school that would let him do his thing for his 1 year so he can move on.

Nothing wrong with getting a good word out on stuff. Overdoing it makes you look like a dooshbag, just so you know.

glad to have him aboard...suprised he didnt pick st.johns considering its closer to home and he has a kid on the way

This kid sounds like a thug. He was close to going to Kansas. I thought they made a better move picking up Henry. But Henry isn't exactly sounding real classy these days either. Maybe these guys will actually play basketball at some point.
