Rutgers snares point guard
Desperately seeking a point guard, Rutgers finally landed the only one they were still recruiting, getting a commitment from James Beatty of Miami Dade College. The first thing he does is allow shooting guard Corey Chandler to not have to switch positions. He averaged 13.4 points, 7.9 assists and 2.7 steals last season.

Good for Rutgers. Fred Hill can recruit but he's got to prove he can actually coach. Rutgers got too much talent for them to be as bad as they have been the last few seasons.
