Angels not rushing to add pitcher

With the season's halfway point less than a week away the Angels' pitching situation remains unsettled in the rotation and the bullpen. But General Manager Tony Reagins said Thursday he won't make a trade simply to look busy. And so far, those pieces aren't available at a price the Angels are willing to pay. The Angels have reportedly expressed interest in Arizona Diamondbacks' right-hander Dan Haren but those feelers were rebuffed.

And your point is??? The Angels never want to part with anyone. That is why they never make it past the first round of the playoffs!!!

We haven't been healthy at any point this year. No reason for us to jump the gun now. Everyone is getting settled in our bats are coming around, the pen is finally shaping up. Unless we can package some of our young guys for something HUGE, I see no reason to trade for the sake of trading.

Good teams have decent pitching, great teams can never have enough decent pitching. Lesson learned from the Red Sox.

The start of their season should tell them that they need a few more pieces in their bullpen. If they had a decent bullpen, they would be about 7 games up on the Rangers.

They need to get pitching help. Starter and bullpen. Saunders has been ineffective, Weaver has been crappy lately, Lackey and Santana are still recovering, Adenhart was murdered, Spieir sucks the butt, Shields is out for the year, Fuentes always makes things interesting, the only real set up man they have is Darren Oliver.

Dan Haren please!!!!!
