What did he expect to get offered after his performance last season? Just yesterday he described himself as "mentally damaged''.

He played like he should get the veteran minimum, but he'll probably be better next year by playing the whole season somewhere.

This Marbury cat needs a reality check... with 4 points and 3 TURNOVERS and poor defense against Rafer Allston in the elmination game against Orlando he basically blew Boston's season. The 1.3 mil is obviously an insult and the polite way of telling him to get lost...

But I don't understand why he'd lie about three teams being interested in him... is he talking basketball or something else?

I wonder which 3 D league teams r trying 2 sign him?

I guess that's what they thought he was worth..how much they needed him..Probably won't get offered any more than that by any winning team..

Marbury is doing the right thing for him...He gave it a go-he just couldnt be consistent-all the Celtics wanted from him was the old Stephon and he couldn't give it to us. Thanks for coming.

those three teams are in Euro league probably but there are some teams that could use his skills, but his problems are a little hard to overlook.

The Celtics offer is about what he deserves after his play during the playoffs. He's either great or horrible at any given moments. I think the Celts made the offer in hopes he'd pass.

Hope the Cavs sign him. DON'T want to see Cleveland win it all next season.

He better make good on his word a few years back about playing in Italy.

He can still play. Could work in the right situation. I'd stay with the Celtics for a chance at a ring rather than go to a team that's paying more money but will be in the basement. It is a business but he's made a ton of money already.

Mnn I hope Lakers sign in him. For free..Infact celts, cavs, spurs should all chip in, so lakers can sign him.
