Roger Clemens' lawyer says the pitcher was not among the more than 100 players who tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs in 2003. Rusty Hardin tells The New York Times that Clemens obtained the results from the drug-testing company and provided them to Congress before his 2008 testimony by waiving his right to keep them private.

Attorney: Clemens didn't test positive in 2003, but he did in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008. . .

They test for elevated levels of testosterone tho, which HGH will do, so if a player doesnt test positive for an anabolic substance, MLB will know that it is a designer drug or HGH. Which intern will lead to a investigation or suspension, just like in the instance of Manny Ramirez. You people need to do some reading, and im not saying Clemens didnt use PED, he probally did if his personal trainer and best friend admitted to him using.

Noones' even claiming he tested positive in 2003. They're saying he took them in the late 90s through 2001. Hardin thinks every american citizen is a moron and that he can try this little sly acts that will make people bite and they won't even notice. I can't believe how bad of a lawyer this guy is. Clemens would have been better off taking the McGwire route.

Even if clemens name isn't on the list doesn't mean he didn't use steroids or that he's not a piece of crap for throwing his wife under the bus...I don't remember the 2003 test being brought up in the congressional hearings....

Train wreck.

It's astonishing that after all this time his lawyers are still trying to portray him as completely innocent. If he gets more than 30% of the Hall Of Fame vote his first year elligible I'll be shocked.

I always thought he was on Roids he was getting bigger and bigger like Bonds.

Bonds says squat about this.

Clemens keeps lying and lying and lying saying the same lie which has been proven wrong.

Your best friend who you are training with is taking it in your home. Your wife is taking steroids in your home. Your trainer supplies steroids to the people in your home.

You did not know the people in your house were and his trainer never approached him?

Clemens thinks we are a bunch of idiots. All of baseball thinks we the fans are a bunch of idiots and treat us like it. We will accept the party line they feed us.

Bud Selig is just as at fault for these players taking it because he did nothing. The players union is at fault for doing nothing and fighting drug testing policies where other major sports have had them.

We the fans are at fault because we suspected and said nothing. We helped promote this lie because we love our baseball.

The federal government had to step in because MLB was screwing up. That was how bad it is.

I want one of these guys to give a real appology saying yes, I screwed up. It is all my fault not anyone else's I was irresponsable. What I did was wrong. I am sorry.

I would accept that more than half assed appologies from Pettite, A-Roid, Manny, etc.

I do not buy, watch etc baseball anymore. Why? I will not accept the lies and the crap all these players feed us and their league.

I played baseball as a kid, I played catcher in high school. I love the game but MLB is nothing to me now.

Saying that you didn't test positive in one specific year is kind of like saying that you didn't get a speeding ticket on a specific date. It doesn't mean that you didn't break the rules on that day or that you never broke the rules, it just means that you didn't get caught on that day.

I'm sure if I looked hard enough I can find a week I didn't drink.

Just wondering....how'd a lawyer get the test results?

He could have possibly subpoenaed them as part of his case against McNamee, but he would likely have to show how they were relevant.

Good question. I wonder if we'll ever find out which intern it was ...
