01:59 PM ET 08.24 | A tired Novak Djokovic appeared to sleepwalk through the first set of his final against Roger Federer at the Western & Southern Financial Group Masters. When he finally woke up, he thought he was in New York. In the second set of his 6-1, 7-5 loss at the Lindner Family Tennis Center, Djokovic raised his game and also his grunting, perhaps in the hopes of drowning out the fan in the stands who was heckling him. The man was seated in the north-side bleachers of Center Court, and after the second point of what would be the final game of the match, Djokovic could stand it no more. He turned away from Federer, who was getting ready to serve, and addressed the heckler. "This guy was just saying some crazy things throughout the whole match," Djokovic said, declining to elaborate. "It was just annoying. It was not appropriate."
