Bills coordinator on hot seat

10:11 AM ET 08.30 | The Buffalo Bills had better start fast on offense this year because, from what I hear, the patience level is not very high for offensive coordinator Turk Schonert. Shut out in the first half in Pittsburgh and totaling four first downs going into the fourth quarter is not going to make people feel confident about the offense.

Will T.O. cry if the offensive coordinator is criticized or fired? "That's my offensive coordinator! *sniff*"

I'm sure he will be crying, Stu. He always does...

No he will throw him under the bus. Then buddy up with the new OC and the cycle will continue unabated to the sewer.

The Bills are going to be sorry this year...they wont go 0-16...but wont be far from it. And Cowboy fans are going to laugh all year....T.O. will retire one day with HOF numbers but NOT one SB ring....His best opportunity to win was in Dallas and he couldnt make it work...SO there is NO way it will work in buffalo

This is Pittsburgh that kicked their tail. Ahhh guys who do you think will be winning the Super Bowel again this year for ring 7?

Owens will be leading the movement. It'll be Jason Garrett Part 2.

This is always good. Lets have anarchy on the coaching staff a couple weeks before the season starts. Us Bills fans thank you. Schonert should have been tossed out about 7 months ago when Jauron should have been fired. The only coach that should have survived from last year to this year is Bobby April. Anyone else should be tossed.

And will the Bills go 0-16 or even be close? No not a chance. Why? Because GOd hates Bills fans. He will tease us with a strong start to the season. You will see the Bills in the discussion for the wildcard until about week 12 or week 13 when the team tanks. Jauron has been 7-9, 7-9, and 7-9 for his three years. I think the streak continues, so we don't get a playoff spot and we don't get a top 10 pick. It will be an allaround crap season for the Bills.

It takes a team to win. The addition of T. O. is subtraction not addition. It is all about T. O. and $$$. Winning, who cares!!!

The addition of TO is a win-win for Buffalo. If he plays well and helps Buffalo win, then, obviously, great. If he comes in and destroys the team, then he destroys a team that hasn't made the playoffs this decade. He ensures the demise of Dick Jauron and, probably, Russ Brandon and himself. The Bills are better off with either outcome.

I agree with this. It amazes me how such a great talent has made both the Eagles and Cowboys worse off than when he is not on their rosters.

No doubt T.O will twitter about hes not getting the showtime they signed him for...

I'm still surprised that Dick Jauron was retained for another season. Maybe the Bills kept him because they didn't feel there were any qualified candidates available and are keeping their fingers crossed that they can get a "name" coach or high-profile coordinator in 2010.
