08:57 AM ET 09.05 | Deion Sanders, who was represented during his playing career by Michael Crabtree's agent, Eugene Parker, and who still is believed to have close ties to him, said that Crabtree is willing to sit out the entire season and re-enter the draft in 2010. "You can't miss what you don't have," Sanders said regarding the money that Crabtree currently is leaving on the table. Sanders also said that two teams contacted the 49ers regarding a trade for Crabtree, that the teams were willing to pay Crabtree, and that Crabtree knows it. Though Sanders didn't say so directly, he implied that the other teams were willing to pay Crabtree a contract worth $40 million.

Sounds like BS to me.

The NFL should implement a standard tiered one year contract for all rookies. With the maximum being $1.5 million in the first round. Each round after that would get cheaper.

While I respected Deion's play on the field many years ago, I can't imagine why anyone would put too much credence into what he says.
By the way, why does Crabtree look like a **** in all of his pictures? Hm. . .

The suit reminds me of ones those guys wore in the early 60's groups.

yep absolutly, but it would only be fair to the veterans if you made these punks prove they can play before paying them.

I don't think it's pink--I think that might be the effect of the colors in the background. Looks more like a slightly off-white to me.

Proving your football skills before you sign a fat deal?! That sounds too . . . logical.

Hopefully Deion won't be giving him fashion advice, or God forbid--- Irvin.

...and his hands are probably suspect, due to his obviously "broken wrists"

limp wrist or not, he can catch a ball, problem is he doesn't have the speed in todays game. IMO

Yup. The suit looks fine, but the shirt and tie are another thing. . . effeminate. Can I say that instead of gay or ****?

Wait a minute! I can say gay, but I can't say ****? What about flaming?

What happens IF he signs, and doesn't have 20 balls thrown to him every game? TO part deux?
