Jeff Jordan is back with the Illinois basketball team. Coach Bruce Weber made it official Friday night, saying Michael Jordan's eldest son had convinced him he is ready to dedicate himself to the team. Jordan, a junior, played as a preferred walk-on the last two seasons but after last season he told Weber he was leaving the team to concentrate on academics.

Wow. No posts as this is not news.

That's because at absolute most, he is a role player that should get no more than 10-15 minutes a game in the Big Ten.

How is it that his dad who is the best player of all time is not working with his kid more. I have read that he doesn't work with him too much because he has work of his own. If this was my kid I would do my best to work with him and make sure his game is flawless. Maybe the kid just doesn't have the drive his dad did but I would like to see him succeed.

Well if he uses 2 balls at once he can score 4 points, unless he double dribbles...

Why aren't we talking about Notre Dame? They're being ignored and disrespected here on T&R!

He's too busy killing yet another NBA team ... he's got no time for Jr.

or maybe the son is going to a university with a good business school so he can manage the family fortune when dad is old and gone. besides, if you were jordan's kid, the LAST sport you would try to make a name in would be basketball. pele, maradonna and pete rose jrs. are perfect examples of what happens to kids like this.

love all the jordan haters. too sor grapes they would have loved to have had him star at their two-bit college or university.
