08:32 AM ET 10.18 | The sell-off of talent after John Moores' divorce forced him to sell the Padres is taking the buzz off these playoffs for fans of the Dodgers, a franchise being referred to as "community property" by attorney Dennis Wasser, who represents Jamie McCourt in a potential divorce from Frank McCourt.

If they argue over Manny, just saw him in half.

this is pretty scary. the dodgers have held on and held on to all their young guys through the years. declining all those trade requests. i can only imagine how the vultures will start hovering if/when they have this fire sale. the dodgers have so much young talent. Frank and Jaime.. THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

They are going to split the fanbase down the middle:

* He will get the ex-convicts with the neck and scalp tattoos.

* She will get the fair weather "in by the third, out by the sixth" fans

According the LA Times, the Dodgers are lsited as the sole property of Frank McCourt. That aside, it was unclear in the article if they had a pre or postnuptual agreement. If not, it would be unlikely that he could buy her out of their remaining assets while still keeping enough cash around to run the Dodgers like a big market club.
