Manny showers while Dodgers lose

In the moment Philadelphia's Jimmy Rollins crushed Jonathan Broxton's 1-1 fastball for a two-run, winning double Monday night in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series, the Dodgers' Manny Ramirez was already in the showers, blissfully unaware of the punch to the gut his teammates on the field were enduring. "I was taking a shower," Ramirez said with a nonchalant shrug. "I came out and saw it on television. Then everybody started coming in and they turned the television off." few minutes later, Torre quickly began the damage control. He seemed disappointed, but not surprised. Showering early, heck leaving early, is rather common for Ramirez, and Torre has come to understand him better than almost anyone. "I think the way it turned out, it probably doesn't look good," Torre said. "But he certainly didn't have any lack of respect because of that."

Boston dealt with this for years. Now LA. I'm sure he will be someone elses problem soon enough. It's not like you don't know what your getting with him so teams can't be surprised. He does it because people allow him too.

Didn't know the two topics were related...
Regardless of how much he makes, the guy's about as selfish as they come. A great hitter, but his sense of entitlement is overwhelming at times and obviously gets in the way. His actions once again show everything the TEAM concept is not about.
