Yea... not going to heal a staph infection in his knuckles...

This guys is an excuse machine, he lost to hopkins, he had an an injured left elbow and then came down with mysterious bronchitis the week of the bout. Im with Devi8ed... take his belt, let him win it back when he grows a pair.

I don't agree here. He has faught great fights with everyone they have put in front of him until his recent injury problems and yes the chamber would help if he would use it right after the surgeries to prevent further degeneration that allows infection to set in again.

Pavlik is scared after getting destroyed by a 40 year old man in Hopkins what a kid would do to him. Sad he is supposed to be a champion but he won't fight. Big sissy and a coward!!!!

great idea Pavlik doesn't respect the title enough to warrant being called a middlewight champion.

Even assuming the medical issues are completely valid, three postponements in a year are just too many. The championship needs to be in play at some point. If he's a legit champ, he'll fight for it and win it back as soon as he's physically capable.

I do agree that something needs to be done, and Pavlik coming off a loss, should not be able to hold onto the title being inactive and injured.
Hope he gets better.

Just a thought, FanNation, why not having a MMA/Boxing section. If you are going to post threads about boxing, it does not make sense to do in a Mixed Martial Arts section. That being said, there are not enough posts or interest to have its own category. I think changing it to MMA/Boxing makes sense.

I don't think they would because we rarely get a boxing T&R posted here. MMA is more active for some reason...could be us meat heads.

What a bunch of nonsense. Ya think Joe Goosen might be milking this one? don't you figure Pavlik knows this makes him look bad? That guy's got some flaws but he's no coward. My money's on williams in a rout but Pavlik's no coward.

Pavlik is trying to hold onto the title as long as she can because she knows her skills are limited and she will be exposed quickly since Hopkins showed how limited Kelly really is. Plus with living in Mancini's Youngstown shadow Pavlik is trying to hold on to the belt because it's not for long before she is exposed again like Mancini was a paper fake champion. Get back and fight sore hand or not. You are supposed to be the champion now act like one!!!!

My Younstown friends told me Pavlik bought a bar called the 13th round where he is all the time drinking getting loaded every night. His trainer has also made comments that Pavlik won't train. Maybe this has something to do with all the cancels.

It simply means stingy or tightfisted, and being stingy or miserly is not what's prompting Pavlik to keep postponing this fight.

But, it's not surprising some sick bigot who's simply (and simple-mindedly) trying to stir up an argument thinks it's some kind of racial slur. The trailer park, ku klux klown, SCarayn brotherhood, white sTupremacist training these cretins receive leaves much to be desired.

Pavlik needs to fight and quickly to defend his belt and his honor. When you live in Youngstown OH there is not a lot going on for anybody. Talk about the limelight in Youngstown it's by candlelight and the flame is flickering badly for the Ghost!
