Danny Lee doesn't quite fit into that category, given that he is exempt onto the European PGA Tour by virtue of his win last February in the Johnnie Walker Classic. But with his goal the PGA Tour, the 19-year-old fell well short by closing with a 76 at Stonebridge Ranch CC in McKinney, Texas, to miss the cut. Lee was tied for 23d after completion of the rain-delayed third round (top 22 and ties advanced), and was on the number after a birdie at the 10th. But he bogeyed five of the last eight holes to finish joint 34th. Also missing the cut was Andrew Giuliani, son of the former mayor of New York City. From tied for 17th after 54 holes he shot 74 and finished two shots too high.

Its an honor to be able to participate in the PGA tour. One that is very lucrative. Crying about it through the press doesn't help your golf score though.
