The Missouri Tigers made some big news Sunday with an oral commitment from forward Kadeem Green for the 2010 recruiting class. Green confirmed to PowerMizzou.com he'd pledged to Missouri. Green made his official visit to MU over the weekend and was on hand for the Tigers' Black& Gold scrimmage Friday night at Mizzou Arena. Green, a 6-foot-8 forward, is from Toronto but plays high school hoops in Charlotte, N.C., at United Faith Academy. Green was receiving interest from Cincinnati, Wake Forest and Memphis among other schools.

Wise choice picking Missoiuri and Coach Anderson. The new Memphis coach is a joke and won't be there long.

Memphis is a joke and an eyesore.

Pastner at Memphis is suppose to be a great recruiter and has been groomed to be a coach for a while. With Memphis' low standards and weak conference they can be pretty good for a long time.

Pastner will be a joke as a coach. Cal wanted him in there knowing Memphis will sink faster than Memphis basketball graduating anyone on time or under ten years. The kid will not be a success and that's what Cal wanted to succeed him someone who will make Memphis go down hill.

I thought this was about a student where to play ball. You can tell losers and low self-esteem people.

1st reply probably Pastner himself responding.

Now I know you are the Memphis coach or staff. Funny how sensitive you are to the truth. I am just stating what I hear from the coaches in the know that Cal wanted someone to replace him who won't succeed and Pastner with no experience or coaching pedigree was choosen and will fail.

Scrubber, you're scrubby. 1) With your grammer skills I wonder if you know the first thing about anything related to college. 2) Coach Cal hired Coach Pastner to come with him to KY. 3) Who's your team?

Pastner was hired by Cal as a recruiter/pimp. These guys are a dime a dozen and are not necessarily head coaching material. The midget has never been a head coach and his staff is questonable. Just watch and see what happens at Memphis. Just because a kid commits doesn't mean he is signed. Comparing conference USA to the SEC-BIg East_ACC is like comparing Halle Berry to Whoopie Goldberg!!!! So easy to recruit against a school from a terrible conference. I like UCLA.

All these first time posters know I have hit a major nerve is questioning Pastners qualifications to be a head coach. He is a recruiter watch what happens at Memphis.

Another first time poster.

Scrubber is a certified idiot.

Pastner was leaving with Cal to UK when he was approached about the Memphis job. Pastner has MORE experience than either Dean Smith or Coach K when they were hired at the about the same age. No, that does not guarantee success, but your comments are those of a punk baiter and nothing more. Well done.

Pastner is a master recruiter and has proven that again as the head coach. And any coach worth a **** will tell you that recruiting world-class talent is more than half the battle. As for his staff, please, show some intelligence. By all accounts Pastner hired an incredible supporting cast. Check your facts before spewing vomit.

VolFanHenry: Your comment means so much coming from Knoxville Middle School fan. How does it feel your basketball coach is 0 for dozens recruiting players out of Memphis. Get ready for your team to lose 31 Dec to our eye sore of a team. Please.

I can tell you this: Missouri fans are exstatic about the program. Getting better and better every year. The recruiting classes in the past few years have been awesome. This team (much like the football team did) is turning into a yearly contender. For the first time in a while, I am very proud to be a Zou fan. It's awesome how pumped fans are for the program.
