Top 100 high school senior forward Rod Odom decommitted from the Arizona basketball team Sunday, creating a significant hole in the Wildcats' 2010 recruiting efforts with less than three weeks before the start of the fall signing period. Odom, who plays at Middlesex School in Concord, Mass., said via text message early Monday that he decommitted from UA but offered no other details. He had chosen UA earlier this month over Vanderbilt, Boston College and West Virginia after earlier eliminating Harvard.

Is it just me, or does that picture of Sean Miller remind anyone else of the Disneyland Logo?

That's a long way to go to college all the way across the country. You go to Boston College or West Virginia your parents see most of the games on TV or in person. Not a bad move. Arizona needs to firm up their recruiting on the west coast and Texas.

Anyone who wants to play in the Big Dance? Secondly, Harvard doesn't offer athletic scholarships, so if money or financing is a concern, a lot of people would turn down Harvard.

If there is a way to go to Harvard, go to Harvard.

I would argue that for undergrad, it really does not matter all that much, you will get better grades at other schools and grad schools will then weight the grades, in the end, it is a wash. You might be a little smarter from the competition, but let's be honest...you forget 75% of what you learned for a test within a month after taking that test.

Still around. I cut back on commenting. I used to comment on things that I had no real opinion on, so now I just ration myself out.

I liked The Blueprint 3. One of his better albums.

Sean Miller will take over the PAC Ten conference in 2 years. This will be amazing the turnaround and Lute is there for advice along with Sean's dad.

Sounds like this kid doesn't do well under pressure. Good move for him.

Harvard vs. Arizona? Arizona hands down. Anyone ever done a survey to see what the average UofA Bball player makes in the NBA, versus the average anything from Harvard? UofA Bball players average more /yr than Duke, Kansas, Kentucky and UNC!!!! I'd chose UofA!
