Golfer violates Tour Twitter rule
When you think of golf pioneers, the mind spans the giants of the game such as Arnold Palmer, Tiger Woods, and of course, Parker McLachlin. Wait, what? Well, think about it: while Palmer and Woods have both been credited with bringing golf to the masses, neither has been able to do so as directly as McLachlan, who violated PGA Tour policy for a first-ever in-tournament tweet during the final round of the Frys.com Open on Sunday. The post itself wasn't terribly revealing (it read: "Just made birdie on 4. Waiting on 5th tee. First tweet during a tourney round. Don't want to get too used to this!") but it was still enough to elicit a phone call from PGA Tour executive vice president Rick George, who informed an unwitting McLachlan that he was breaking Tour policy.

not that I care, because twitters sucks, but if there`s 1 sport that the athletes could actually afford the luxury of writting stupid self serving posts (like what I am doing at this very moment) it`s gold, no?

Actually, MacLachlin takes even more time over a shot than Woods (hard to believe, I know).
Remember the last hole of a tourney two years ago where he spent 20 minutes trying figure out if he should lay up on a par 5 or not? The crowd nearly booed his carcass off the course. I think he ended up shooting a triple bogey.
That should have been a learning experience for him right there.
Parker. Could you possibly get your *** in gear or go see a friggin shrink?

Wolf Blitzer went on Twitter - they took him off the air in Japan two weeks later. Sigh-oh-gnarl - give Jack his own show, cnn. Twister, Azzbook, Mydisgrace, all make this place look gawd-like.

Actually, if there's a sport that was made for tweeting, it's golf. So much down time. Or maybe bowling. Well, heck, I guess MLB baseball and NFL football too for that matter.
