08:44 AM ET 10.29 | With the Celtics taking the court last night in front of the hometown crowd for the first time this season, president Danny Ainge made it a point to show that even though Glen Davis was absent, he is still part of the team. Ainge told the operations crew to include Davis in the pregame introductions.

what's the question ?

That is respectful, even though he is a bonehead

Exactly. HUH????

Follow the money trail. They need to sell his jersey. Why would he want the fans to alienate him?

October 29, 2009  08:59 AM ET

I would have lingered somewhat on the name during the intros though

and here's the BBBIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGG Baby! With his BIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGG Boo Boo

Dear God I would be embarrassed to be a Celtics fan...your new feature player has the nick name "Big Baby" and has the maturity to show it. Look at the headline..."Celtics trying to keep Big Baby happy"....what are they going to do, give him a pacifier? How does anyone even get a nickname like that? What a baby

October 29, 2009  09:37 AM ET

how sweet and unimportant

Morning Epoch. I am trying to get back into FanNation. Slowly but surely.

Being NBA season I'm finally hoping for some reasonable and intelligent conversation... the summer and the NFL threads can be a tough road over the summer

The suspension seems kind of silly since he's out for 6-8 weeks... but yeah.. hit him in the wallet where it hurts

QUOTE(#15):

There are some real topics to be discussed now. Plus we have some real games to make some evaluations on. I saw a lot of your Celtics this preseason (since it seemed like they were always play the Knicks and Nets). They look good.

It's all up to the sports gods at this point for everybody... except the Cavs.

Here's hoping it's an LA/Boston Finals.

That would be messed up if they skipped him during pregame introductions.

Was the operations crew going to omit him?

Boston takes crap from no one!

Morning E, how goes it?

No new software changeovers or anything that would keep you from your real job here on FN right?

I've been doing tons of data entry since we are swamped I gotta help my team but the plus side is loads of good NBA banter
