Top RB recruit begins national tour
Heavily recruited Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes RB Marcus Lattimore will make his first official visit this weekend, heading to Auburn. The following weekend, he will be at Penn State. He's also planning a trip to Oregon in January. His final two visits have South Carolina and UNC as strong possibilities, while Florida State and Georgia also have a shot.

I can agree with that. I can see Penn State as a possible candidate but Georgia seems like the one to beat.

It's pretty easy to see why a recruit would choose Penn State - I'm a Buckeye fan and heading there again for next weeks game ... watching a game in The Shoe is "nice" but the atmosphere at State College is beyond crazy. Sweet stadium - too bad it starts at 3:30 though - being there for a night game is pretty damn sweet!

Gus Malzahn is a great OC, but it will take some time for him to get all the players and time he needs for the system to work. Tulsa looked wicked last year when Gus was OC there. It will be interesting to see if he can get the same powerhouse offense to fire on all cylinders at Auburn.
