Vols chasing UGA commit
About the time Da'Rick Rogers got a coveted fifth star added to his recruiting ranking, the Calhoun wide receiver and University of Georgia commitment also got an impromptu visit from Tennessee. Ed Orgeron, Lane Kiffin's right-hand man in recruiting, dropped in at Calhoun High to try to get a foot in the door of Rogers' recruitment. Rogers, a 6-foot-3, 207-pound senior, has been committed to Georgia since early June. And it's going to be hard to pry Rogers away from the Bulldogs.

I absolutely love Kiffins aggressiveness in recruiting and with Georgia slipping as a national power what a great opportunity to try and undertake a 5 star recruit. Screw the recruiting protocal rules that say please respect a commit and back off especially a conference signee. Balls out Kiffin go for it!!!

Ever heard Ed Orgeron talk? Nobody can understand a word he says. So UGA should not be too worried.

Supposed to be one of the best recruiters of all time-USC left Mississsippi with the cupboard full and will have UT in the top ten in 2 years. If I was Georgia I would be scared to death of Orgeron and Kiffin coming at me with that charm. Georgia is old news there is a new kid on the block.

Up to the kid to listen. If he really wants to go to Georgia then he won't be swayed by Orgeron or Kiffin.

Tennessee just played Florida and Alabama fairly tough with little talent. With the facilities and money Tennessee has available and the staff Kiffin has assembled winning large is a distinct possibility. College success is 80% recruiting talented players and I believe Tennessee is off and running. Kiffin to you might be a joke but he's got a stunningly beautiful wife and kids and one of the best coaching gigs in the country plus he is paid millions. Vols in top ten next season.

scrubber, relax man, Sam's got a PhD in getting under the skin of Volunteers. It's what they're trained to do in Alabama.
Just keep your shovels handy so we can feed crow to all of them when Kiffin wins the SEC by year 3.

I would have agreed with you at the beginning of the season and after the first two games but this Krazy Kiffin guy might actually have the brashness and resolve to get things done at Tennessee.

Ya know, who cares where he ends up - until any of these guys prove something, they are nothing; I mean, there are 85 scholarship players allowed per team, but only 22 starting positions - DO THE MATH.
