Ex-Dolphin: Ginn's an embarrassment, coward

The Dolphins' disappointing start generated plenty of commentary from team alums at Don Shula's and O.J. McDuffie's charity events last week. Ted Ginn Jr. drew derision from several former Dolphins for drops and his penchant for running out of bounds. ``He's an embarrassment and a coward,'' Bob Kuechenberg said. ``He's got alligator arms. It's sad. I don't even know that he has the ability. I haven't seen it.''

Terrible waste of a #9 overall pick...

November 1, 2009  06:57 AM ET

I hate the Dolphins anyway

Tell us what you really think.....

Breaking up is hard to do.

The Ginn pick is so bad that at first glance you'd swear that the Raiders made it.

Cam Cameron has done some very good things as an offensive coordinator, but he should never have been allowed to be head coach anywhere.

Very true.

And he was a reach... most mock drafts had him listed as a mid-late first round pick.

Another player for Oakland

A match made in Heaven. Or in the case of the Raiders, hell, which suits them fine.

Did the derisive Dolphins think that Ginn played for an undefeated team going after their record? This is the sort of drunken talk the old coots pull out late in the season when someone is 13-0.....

Given the junk that Mercury Morris has taken in his life, just being drunk is an upgrade.

Mercury Morris. . . *giggle*. Honestly, I hope that it's a very long time before another team goes undefeated. I got so sick of Morris and his abject stupidity during the Pats run.

Another Cam Cameron screw-up.

November 1, 2009  08:25 AM ET

Their derision should have been directed at the people who selected him so high. Don't blame the player. He is what he is. If he had been a fourth round pick he the criticism would not be so strong, and he would still be the same player. The NFL is full of players who do not belong in the League.

If a team is undefeated around week 10 or 11, you'll see them parade his sorry tail out again. Then we can all bask in his stupidity and see why people shouldn't do cocaine. Maybe that is the reason they parade him out, as a warning to others?

Really guys, it may be time that you just say........ "Hey, we blew it, Ginn wasn't a first round pick and the Dolphins organization screwed up".

November 1, 2009  08:57 AM ET

72' Dolphins most overrated NFL team EVER...................put that in your pipe and smoke it Mr. Kuechenberg. Yes Ginn stinks right now, but a change of venue might make this prima donna actually show some ability.........

HEY there bitter fans and former players. It AIN'T just him mucking up. So, for yall to whine and complain about him and at what # he was drafted get over it suckers. Just like 50yearfan said those former players derision should be directed at the individual/s who selected him so high. He didn't draft himself. True blue Saints fan. What a comeback huh? Who Dat LOL!!!!
