Quarterback change in Georgia?
Will Joe Cox remain Georgia's starting quarterback? Coach Mark Richt wasn't saying on Sunday. Cox threw three interceptions in Georgia's 41-17 loss to Florida on Saturday, and Richt's answer -- or lack thereof -- to Sunday's inevitable question will further fuel speculation about whether it's time for redshirt sophomore Logan Gray or freshman Aaron Murray to replace Cox, a senior.

Give Murray a shot at it....he needs to take some snaps in a real game. Meanwhile, Martinez should be gone after this season.

seasons in the dumps and you have to think about your future so probably should.
Say it aint so Joe. You gotta hit the bench, get your degree and reminisce with your kids and grandkids about how you got to play ball with Matt Stafford and knowshown Moreno.

Tough call, but that's why they pay Richt the big bucks. If it was me, I'd give the young guys the ball and look forward to next year.
Martinez is really taking heat - is it the scheme, or is the talent level down? Either way, Richt has to share some of the heat, either for coaching or recruiting deficiency, or both.
And the dumb penalties were everywhere - focus and discipline were in short supply. Usually the Gators have the market cornered on stupid penalties.

And if we can get to the defense to play like they do after halftime, we'll stay up.

I think they'll keep Richt; after all, he is one of their winningest coaches. Bobo and Martinez, however...

Actually, there were a couple more that should have been called but were missed by the refs. UGA needs to get those under control.

Mark Richt will probably pull a Tommy Tuberville and fire all of the coordinators so he will stay on as HC but that only works for so long. I think the dawgs need a new pack leader. I think they should go with Kirby Smart he played college ball at Georgia, currently he is Alabama's DC.

Not fair to Joe..hes a good QB but hes not exactly playing with a stacked deck of talent either

Cox played really well against Arkansas and S.C. Changing QB isn't the answer. And having held Murray out until now - seems a waste to forfeit a redshirt season for him at this point.

season is a bust start murray...best part of the game was meyer hunting out orson charles to shake his hand first...huge mistake orson...huge.

Agreed. The Dawgs aren't playing with any discipline OR control; when you give the other team (UF or anyone else) 84 free yards in the first half, your chances of staying in the game are slim.....not that their chances were that great to start with. :-)

Yep....is that story they told really true about Charles breaking the nat'l champs trophy on his recruiting visit to UF? Too funny in my opinion.

I don't think they will get rid of Richt just yet.....would be too much like when Adams ran Jim Donnan out of town (and against Vince Dooley's wishes I might add).

On the bright side, Georgia, the black helmets did look cool, and the mosh pit on the sideline after scoring wasn't quite as tasteless as the one you set up in the endzone year before last.
Please keep Richt. I like the way he focuses on cutesy motivational tactics instead of coaching football. Of course, 84 penalty yards in the first half had nothing to do with stuff like that whipping his team into a mindless frenzy.

The black helmets were terrible. They need to pack those away for a while.
