Storm Johnson, a Loganville tailback and one of the top rushers in the state, committed to the University of Miami on Sunday. The 6-foot-1, 215-pound senior made the decision without ever seeing the Hurricanes' Coral Gables campus. He'll do that during an official visit on Dec. 12. Johnson said he chose Miami over Michigan State and Oregon, in that order. Florida State, Kentucky, Alabama, North Carolina and N.C. State also were recruiting him.

I was really bummed Texas didn't try to recruit the RB from Georgia. He committed to Fl. Name is Mack Brown. That would have been great.

That would have been pretty damn hilarious. I would have given him a scholarship on that alone (probably why I'm not a coach).

Dent committing really hurt. He has been to Tallahassee so many times and anyone who has been there that much with the debacle that the Noles are putting together should have had an offer.

Fortson, Spence, Armstrong and Moncur were all out on D and Phillips was playing hurt. How ever what Wake did is what FSU did to us and somehow we need to get out CD's to play more press coverage.

Now, now... do not quibble about Wake's outstanding performance. Miami was victorious. Be magnanimous.
