Nice move, Brett - kinda derailed your GM aspirations, didn't it?

The organization deserved to struggle last year for bringing in a guy like Avery without checking with the coaches & player leadership last year. I wouldn't say Avery was MIS-treated, but he got what he had coming. Its not like he put an awful lot of effort into endearing himself to his teammates after all: sitting at the end of the bench alone, listening to music by himself in the dressing room, mocking coaches behind their backs. I feel no pain for Avery whatsoever, and the Stars are a better team without him.

T&R must have their bimonthly Sean Avery hardon this week.....first a story about how Avery is a big DB, then a story about how poor Sean was mistreated. What's next?

Why is this news anyway? He's with the Rangers now. And from what I heard, Chara taught him a lesson about pregame chirping...

Who cares....Sean Avery is a piece of ****. Brett Hull had no freaking clue what he was doing as "co-GM". Of course, that whole "co-GM" thing in itself goes to show that Tom Hicks doesn't have a clue what he's doing either. HEY TOM - DO ALL THE DALLAS SPORTS FANS A FAVOR AND GET OUT OF THE BUSINESS!

Whah - poor Avery. Let me understand this... he mistreats and disrespects anyone in the NHL but he gets mistreated by class players and we care why? Only the Rags will pay for a guy like him ONLY because for some twisted reason, they play better with him in the line-up than without him. Go figure. They deserve each other.

Yet another awful pointless poorly written article by the NY Post today (see the MLB T&R article about the Phillies stealing signs). Avery mistreated by the Stars, are you kidding me? They didnt care to mention what he did to them though. Also no mention of how basically every player/team that he's played with/on has hated him for how he's acted.

He was ostracized by his teammates for not paying attention in practice, wearing headphones in the dressing room and rarely attending team functions. I wonder why no one talked to him?!?

Is it even possible to treat Avery as poorly as he deserves?

I used to like Dallas before all that horse hooey.

Last year's stinkeroo looked good on them.

The Rangers let him walk as a FA b/c he wanted too much. Dallas signed him for almost twice what the Rangers were willing to give him. Now Dallas is still paying half of his salary, so to say only the Rangers would pay for a guy like him is inaccurate. Hull paid him way more.

The Post is worse than a supermarket tabloid. Was he mistreated by the Stars? boooHooo , who cares, should we feel sorry for him. He is without a doubt the most disliked player in the league by players and coaches, no has respect for him.
