guess when your the #1 player in the world you can get your way, even if it means cutting 24 other pros off the list of players. let's see... 24 unknowns for 1 tiger woods... fair bet. however, 5+ hr rounds seem to be the norm for tournament play on the PGA i thought.

They can't. The PGA Tour has a policy of not playing courses that restrict access to women and minorities, something Cypress Point does. Same reason they don't play the Western Open at Butler National anymore and why the PGA Championships at Shoal Creek back in the '80s became more known for the club's membership than for who actually won.

Lee Trevino ('84) and Wayne Grady ('89) if you wanted to know and no I didn't have to google it.

Its sort of embarrassing when a guy makes $50,000 an hour playing golf on 4 hour rounds in upset because he will only earn $40,000 an hour...not sure if my math is right but.....the other guys built like him...NFL Corners....play in the rain....that's probably the real rub as it rains there that time of year.....its much nicer in Jupiter...Windermere is colder...I know that

They are........which is another reason the Masters is the greatest golf tournament in the world, a small field.

Does anyone know how much an amatuer has to pay to play with TIGER in the pro-am at Pebble Beach? It has to be a huge amount of money.

Does anyone know if the charge for being with Tiger is a different amount than for the other players? It sure should be.

I believe this money goes right to charity. So this is a HUGE deal!

I believe they've changed their policy.

I remember hearing it was also because it is too short a course to which I say, "Who cares?" They all play the same holes, what does it matter if the avergae score is 64. They all get the same chance. Plus, what a beautiful course. Gotta get it back on TV.
