Where was the "shot at Meyer?"

If stirring up crap for free publicity and hiring your daddy to coach for you make a great coach, this guy is hall of fame material. Take Monte Kiffin out of the equation and sonny boy would be back shining Al Davis' shoes within two years.

He complained about a late hit on Tebow. I was surprised that there was no response from the SEC governing body about fining Meyer after they supposedly layed down the law.............oh my bad. Forgot this is the same group that let Meyer establish that weak arse 1/2 game suspension.

I guess it was putting Urban Meyer in the form of a question. Maybe he thought it was a game of Jeoperdy?

For a coach who is 4-4, Kiffin seems to have an acute case of diarrhea of the mouth.

It's tiresome how some of you use the "non-story" line every day and take shots at the "interns." This is truth and rumors. It's the interns' job to dig for stuff like this. Plus if you look at the responses to the stories you call "old news" and "non-story," they often number in the hundreds. So just enjoy the repartee and quit whining.

Knowing Kiffin is a lose cannon, the media continues to bait him. Say what you may, with the great help from Monte and his staff, Lane is bringing Tennessee back. I for one would like to see a strong Tennessee, makes the SEC better. Lane just needs a shock collar when the media is around and focus on his team.

As for the "story," I did read that Urban Meyer was critical of a UGA player's hit on Tebow. Hr opined that it was deserving of a penalty for being late. I've not read of any direct criticism of officials.

The Tennessean is Nashville's paper. Perhaps the staid flagship journal of the State's capitol is disapproving of the new Vol coach's demeanor, and spins its story lines that way. Otherwise, the spin is entirely T&R's.
