If the Yankees stage their world championship parade Friday, a Cavaliers spokesman said noted Bronx Bombers fan LeBron James is not expected to attend the festivities, even though he will be in town to face the Knicks that night. There is a chance, however, the Yankees will come to James. Plans were being made to invite a handful of Yankees to the Garden night for the Knicks game vs. the Cavaliers if they are the world champions.

Clever comment... One has to think a moment to get it. Nice.

It says: "There is a chance, however, the Yankees will come to James."

Will these Lebron-loving Yankees follow LeBron back to Cleveland, now that they've won the Championship and have time off ?

Jeez... Talk about everything being Lebron-centric.

What?? The New York Post, OK.

November 5, 2009  08:00 AM ET

By NOT attending the baseball championship parade, is LeBron trying to hint that he will win his own championship this year, so that he will have his OWN parade to attend ?

If so, too bad his message will fall flat. Hahaha !

What a treat, the Yankees won the world series and return their gift is to go to a Knicks game. lol

Yet you took the time to read it and comment... ironic isn't it?

November 5, 2009  08:28 AM ET

How much of a parade can it be without LBJ attending? I mean, winning the World Series is OK.. but having Lebron attend your parade... wow... that is so much better!

I'll bet the Yankees are really hurt by this news

November 5, 2009  08:28 AM ET

dang, lebron looks like a 50 year old dude!

November 5, 2009  08:29 AM ET

he and greg oden must have been separated at birth

November 5, 2009  08:29 AM ET

But LBJ is missing the only chance he's gonna have this year to attend a parade with actual champions present.

The Knicks are pathetic,it is criminal what they are doing to their fans.Trying to sell them on 2010 is a bad joke.If fans have any hope that next year is going to be better I feel sorry for them.

It could also be one of the biggest failures within an organization in sports if 2010 doesnt work out like they hope it will.
