Chad Ochocinco, the Bengals' flamboyant wide receiver, said on 105.7 FM that he sent gift baskets containing deodorant to the Ravens' secondary and to linebackers Terrell Suggs and Ray Lewis. "I not only sent them gift baskets, but I sent them something they could use so they don't sweat," Ochocinco said.

That's just plain stupid. Nice way to undermine a rare good season by the Bungles, Chad.

He needs to stop messing with Baltimore...

I felt sorry for him when Uncle Ray Ray knocked the snot out of him last time for talking so much.

November 6, 2009  07:08 AM ET

Pointless

November 6, 2009  07:11 AM ET

Keep poking that stick at that dog. I think Ray will be willing to pay another fine for launching himself at you, pally.

Don't feel too sorry for him - it turned out to be a key penalty in a key drive in a tight division game. Ray got his shot in, but Ocho's Bengals got the W and the last laugh

Well, if it has the same effect as Cedric Benson angering the bears defense (boy there were some articles in Chicago on how foolish that was and how he would regret it), I'd say it's a money move.

Is the raven's D as feared as ever? Lewis might have to be involved in another murder to regain some 'cred'. boy it was nice of that to just sort of go away, wasn't it.

It didn't just sort of go away - he "cooperated with authorities" (ratted out and testified against his "friend", who was sticking up for Ray when the incident occured), in exchange for a lighter sentence, at the insistance of the NFL.

That still doesn't justify his silly antics....

I'm sure that wasn't part of his plan.

November 6, 2009  07:32 AM ET

Call his bluff. I doubt he sent anything.

November 6, 2009  07:33 AM ET

In a game they hand out 15 yards for "taunting." Isn't this the same thing? The Commish ought to step in before this pre-game taunting gets out of hand.

If the game gets lopsided either way, Ochocinco might be Ouch-o-cinco when he leaves the game on a stretcher.

Maybe, maybe not, but it takes a tougher guy to take the cheap shot for the benefit of his team, get up and keep chirping, than to deliver the cheap shot, costing your team 15 key yards, because you got your little feelings hurt.

I hear ya.

Who told Ocho he was funny?

November 6, 2009  07:42 AM ET

Why is it that the Bengals have owned the Ravens the last five years? If they win this one, people better start taking them a little more seriously. Maybe they are the team to beat in that Division?

Tony Kornheiser & Mike Wilbon.

QUOTE(#13):

All his bobos and the media who sniff his jock. That's probably good enough for him to justify subjecting us to it.

November 6, 2009  07:45 AM ET

Aw heck, guys - this is kinda funny.

But I'll bet Ray-Ray sweats on Chad this weekend.

November 6, 2009  07:49 AM ET

Considering the shot that Chad took the last time he met up with Ray-Ray, I got to say he either has a big brass pair, or a death wish and I'm not sure which it is.

Nothing wrong with the man having a little fun.
